Jake Winkle

Originally from Northern California, Jake is the son of a contractor who grew up in the trades learning hands-on work. After graduating from Chico State University with a Construction Management degree, he began working in Newport Beach for a local home builder, where he quickly emerged as a reliable and successful project manager. Over the next 8 years, he managed and built 37 homes in Newport Beach and Corona del Mar, making a name for himself by being honest and detail oriented. During this time, Jake also successfully started and managed both a Residential Development and Maintenance company.

With a focus on technical, custom builds, Jake founded Winkle Custom Homes in early 2014. His goal was to create a client driven company with complete transparency and communication, that allowed him to be available to all team members. Valuing technology, he created a system that uses all of its resources to ease and assist the building process.
